GREAT NEWS FOR PHOENIX REACH'S FERTILITY

With the end of the covering season drawing to a close, we are thrilled that the number of mares that have been covered by Phoenix Reach and even more importantly that his fertility rate is in excess of 95%. There are, to date, only a couple of mares whose results are currently unconfirmed.

One particular mare, who lost her foal at 42 days, was re covered and despite the fear that this may prove to be very difficult, it transpires that she too has been confirmed in foal. Great news for Andrew Christou, as the mare concerned is one of his own.

This all bodes well for this season with nearly 50 foals scheduled to be on the ground next year. There are certainly some exciting times ahead for everyone involved with Phoenix Reach and hopefully the covering season for 2008 will be equally as successful.
