PHOENIX REACH HAS HIS FIRST MARE SCANNED IN FOAL MARCH 2007 & OTHER NEWS

SUNDAY 18TH FEBRUARY 2007

The National Stud was featured on COUNTYFILE on BBC 1 this morning. There were a couple of pictures of Phoenix Reach and an interview with both Tina Dawson, the Commercial Director and Paul Coombs who looks after the mares and stallions, including Phoenix Reach.

Although it was a fairly small article, it was great advertising for The National Stud and for Phoenix Reach who was seen in a few shots when they were discussing The National Stud.

FRIDAY 19TH MARCH 2007

Another of Andrew's own mares has been scanned in foal to Phoenix Reach. Another beautifully bred mare called GENEROSIA.

15th MARCH 2007

Absolutely fantastic news this morning. Phoenix Reach has had his first mare scanned and is in foal.

The even better news is that the mare is owned by Andrew Christou and she is beautifully bred.

The mare is called PEARL'S GIRL and she will return to the trainer William Haggas to continue her training. William has always thought very highly of this mare and it will be wonderful to be able to follow her progress both on and off the track.

I am sure there will be a few bottles of champagne being opened today.
